Female WarriorsFrom now on, I am dedicating all of my posts to Black African American females because a race can rise no higher than its’ women.

As in all of my posts, UNDERLINED WORDS are links.

I published a Kwanzaa post on December 23, 2014 and during this past year, Black African Americans have nearly fallen off of the socio-economic ladder because we do not desire to know our history or make positive changes in our behaviors.

Stolen LegacyIn his book, “Stolen LegacyBaba George James describes how White Europeans in general and White Americans in particular has stolen most of our knowledge and hidden the rest in plain sight – books.

Bill CosbyIn 1968 Baba Bill Cosby narrated a documentary entitled, “Black History, Lost, Stolen or Strayed” where he highlighted how White Europeans and their progeny stole all of the knowledge and wisdom from ancient Africans, plagiarized and regurgitated it back to us as their wisdom.

Clinton in HarlemHillary Clinton stole Black Africans’ ancient phrase, “It Takes a Village” and she and her husband, Bill Clinton moved into Harlem and was greeted by Black African Americans with open arms, and gentrification followed.  Now the “Stop and Frisk” laws are in full force when many Black African Americans are seen in Harlem.

McCartney at ApolloWhite Americans now own the “Apollo Theater” and they attend in large numbers for concerts and other forms of entertainment.

White KidsTo further add insult to injury, some White Americans have stolen and are celebrating Kwanzaa as their own cultural holiday.

Read SomethingAll of this has happened only because as a race, Black African Americans do not read  and we no longer embrace our own cultural history.

If we don’t embrace and use our culture, then we are going to lose it!

7 PrinciplesHABARI GANI is a Swahili phrase, which mean, “What’s the news?”  We ask this question at the start of each of the seven days of Kwanzaa.

As in all of my posts, underlined words are links.

Nguzo Saba2HABARI GANI- What’s the news?  We must loudly proclaim that beginning today, we as a people will embrace the Nguzo Saba for the rest of our lives.  Before we can embrace the Nguzo Saba, we must proudly and totally embrace Kwanzaa.  In order to embrace Kwanzaa, we must know what it is and what it stands for.

African First FruitThe name Kwanzaa has its’ origin in the Swahili phrase, “matunda ya kwanza” meaning “first fruits.”  Traditionally, Black Africans spelled Kwanza with only six letters. When Baba Dr. Maulana Karenga and his group US introduced Kwanza to Black African Americans, there were seven children involved in the first celebration, so an extra “a” was added, which spelled Kwanzaa to allow each child to hold a letter.

Karenga1Baba Dr. Karenga stated the following, “From the beginning, the essential task of our organization US has been and remains to provide a philosophy, a set of principles and a program which inspire a personal and social practice that not only satisfies human need but transforms people in the process, making them self conscious agents of their own life and liberation. Such a transformative practice will, of necessity, also lead to the building of moral community and to the constant becoming of the best of what it means to be both African and human in the fullest sense.”

7 Principles2There are seven basic and two supplemental symbols used in Kwanzaa, all of which represent the values and traditions of ancient Black African culture prior to colonization by the White Europeans.

These symbols are summarized from the book, “Kwanzaa: A Celebration of Family, Community and Culture, Commemorative Edition, Maulana Karenga, 1998, Los Angeles: University of Sankore Press “and are as follows:

FarmerMazao (The Crops) These are symbolic of African harvest celebrations and of the rewards of productive and collective labor.

MkekaMkeka (The Mat) This is symbolic of our tradition and history and therefore, the foundation on which we build.

KinaraKinara (The Candle Holder) This is symbolic of our roots, our parent people — continental Africans.

MuhindiMuhindi (The Corn) This is symbolic of our children and our future, which they embody.

Mishumaa SabaMishumaa Saba (The Seven Candles) These are symbolic of the Nguzo Saba, the Seven Principles, the matrix and minimum set of values, which African people are urged to live by in order to rescue and reconstruct our lives in our own image and according to our own needs.

Kikombe cha UmojaKikombe cha Umoja (The Unity Cup) This is symbolic of the foundational principle and practice of unity, which makes all else possible.

Gifts1Zawadi (The Gifts) These are symbolic of the labor and love of parents and the commitments made and kept by the children.  The two supplemental symbols are:

Our FlagBendera (The Flag) The colors of the Kwanzaa flag are the colors of the Organization US, black, red and green; black for our people, red for our struggles, and green for the future and hope that comes from our struggles.

Garvey 16It is based on the colors given by the Honorable Marcus Garvey as national colors for African people throughout the Diaspora.

7 Principles3Nguzo Saba Poster – The foundation of Kwanzaa is the Nguzo Saba, which are the seven principles Kwanzaa is built on to reinforce our traditional concept of family, community and heritage.  The Seven Core Principles of the Nguzo Saba are as follows:

Umoja1UmojaBlack Africans in general and Black African Americans in particular must understand the necessity of Umoja-Unity.

Black African Americans come in all shades of brown; all heights and weights, as well as different educational and socio-economic levels.  To the surprise of many, we have different political affiliations.

DifferencesWe also have an array of religious beliefs.  We are Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, Seventh Day Adventists, Catholics, Muslims, Buddhists, Rastafarians and even Atheists, as well as those religions I have not mentioned.

1 VillageDespite all of our differences, the tie that binds us is that we are all Black Africans first and foremost; this is our commonality.  Because we all have Africa as our foundation, we all have a common goal as well as a common obligation.

Bar B QueOur ancestors fought a good fight against an insanely savage and oppressive people, so that we would be empowered to have a better fight for our right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Kujichagulia1Kujichagulia – We must resume the ancient ways of educating ourselves and our children.

This means that we must take our children out of these White Christian propaganda schools and begin teaching them about our glorious past.

Educated Black WomanWe must first learn, then, teach our children that Black African history is the beginning of world history.  Before the Black Africans, there were no humans on this planet.

We must also rewrite the curriculum for America’s public schools because the current curriculum was developed to train our children to become perpetual servants for this White Supremacy system.

UjimaUjima – We must stop all of this senseless partying and bull-shucking and realize that it is long overdue for self-reliance.  Drugs, including alcohol and tobacco are designed by White Supremacists to keep us null and void; in addition to our becoming victims of America’s Criminal Injustice Complex.

Newark PovertyWe must realize that our neighborhoods are dirty, filthy and run-downed because we choose not to clean them up.  Poverty should not be synonymous with filth and trash.

Ujamaa1Ujamaa – We must start giving our dollar$ $ome $en$e.

TrillionsWe have over 1.1 trillion dollars in buying power and we don’t know what to do with it.  If we spent just 1% among ourselves, we would fund every program we need with this 100 billion dollars and still have enough money to help indigent White Americans, if we wanted to.

SpendingBlack African Americans spend 10% of our income on tobacco and 20 % on alcohol (made with sugar) with someone who enslaved hundreds of millions of our ancestors to grow these products to kill us and make them rich.  Alcohol and tobacco kills more people in the world than any other drugs combined.

Female BuyersBlack African women throughout the Diaspora (especially those in America) spends billions of dollars annually on hair products ,in order to have hair (stringy) that looks like our oppressors.

Malcolm XIf we are to survive as a race, we must stop enriching the lives of White Supremacists by not spending most of our money with them.

4 RentWe must recognize that all tenants are buying the homes they are living in because their rent money goes towards paying the mortgages for their landlords.

Big HouseFamilies must pool their money and buy large enough homes for several family members to live in; save their money, including tax refunds and begin purchasing additional homes and apartments.

During this economic time is the best time to do this because there is an abundance of foreclosed properties, which we can buy cheaply.

Nia1Nia – We must know why we are doing what we are doing and whether it is to our benefit or detriment.

Plan AA people without a plan, is a people who are planning to fail.  We must develop both short-term (3-5 years) and long-term goals.

We must also learn to play the games of both chess and monopoly and apply these same strategies to our lives.

  • In chess, we must know our next eight to ten moves and all of the variables in addition to knowing the exact same options that are available to our opponent.
  • In monopoly, we must begin buying all of the properties in the “ghetto” in order to thwart gentrification by the White Supremacist regime.

Music VideoWe must stop producing these racially detrimental songs and movies and begin creating racially uplifting songs and movies.

PyramidWe must remember that not only did we as a people build both America’s and the world’s great metropolis out of the wilderness, we as a people built the Great Pyramid of Giza and the Sphinx nearly 20, 000 years ago, while Europeans were still cave dwellers – So what can’t we do once we have UMOJA?

ImaniImani – We must learn the distinction between religion and spirituality.

Religion is from Latin, which is the word “re-ligere-meaning to tie, bind.

Wrong Cross Of course, the Latin language originated with the Roman Catholic Church, which cursed us with the Bible and sanctioned the insanely vicious enslavement of Black Africans and their progeny throughout the Diaspora.

Religion also teaches us that God is a foreign entity living outside of ourselves and for Black Africans throughout the Diaspora, this God is portrayed as a White man, and His mother is a White woman.

JCWhat intelligent race of people will allow White people to victimize, brutalize and even murder them?  Then fall down on their knees, prostrating themselves in front of an imaginary fantasy god, in the image of the same White man that has harmed them and pray not only for salvation for themselves from this White man, they will even pray for forgiveness for their oppressors?

Metu Neter1Spirituality teaches us that the Universal Spirit (Metu Neter) dwells within all of us and all we have to do is look within ourselves to find GOD in us.

The same Bible that is used to enslave, dominate and control us says in 1Cor 3:16 that our bodies are God’s temple, so it is foolish to go outside of ourselves looking for the GOD of the Universe who dwells within all of us.

It is important to note that Kwanzaa is not a religious holiday, nor does it have any religious overtones. In fact, prior to the start of Kwanzaa, all Christmas and Hanukah decorations must be removed from the place of celebration.  This is why Kwanzaa does not begin until the end of both of these traditional holidays.

After Xmas SaleAnother reason for the selection of December 26th, was to allow participants to take advantage of the after Christmas sales, which will give their dollar$ more buying power.

Gifts1Gifts are primarily given to children, on each of the seven nights of Kwanzaa.  Each child must receive a minimum of two gifts per night.  One gift must be Afro-centric, reinforcing our bond with our Motherland – Africa.  The second gift must be a book about our people and our struggles.

The purpose of books is the reinforcement of Ancient Black Africa’s constant quest for knowledge.

Habari GaniHABARI GANI: (What’s the news? The current news is that as a race, we Black African Americans have never been worse off than we are today.  As a race, we are at the top of the list comprising everything negative and at the bottom of the list of everything positive.

As a race, we have the highest rate of unemployment, poverty, incarceration, infant mortality and school dropout just to name a few.  I cannot even say high school dropouts because many of our children drop out before they get to high school.

Let us not forget that we also have the highest homicide (and other violent crimes) rate as well as the highest state sanctioned legal and illegal (execution by cops) executions in the nation, if not the world.

King Alfred PlanWorst of all, Black African Americans are the primary target for extermination by America’s government sanctioned White Supremacist system (Global 2000 , and The King Alfred Plan ) and we don’t even know it.

NWOBefore I go any further, allow me to explain who and what I mean by White Supremacists.  First, I am not referring to the KKK, Skinheads, Neo Nazis or any other White Racists hate groups.  These groups are mere puppets doing the bidding of The Unseen Hand of a small elite group of predominantly White men (although there are some White women) whose sole purpose is world domination.

These White Supremacists sit behind the scenes controlling all of the politicians, judges, banks, and corporations whose primary agenda is the subjugation and ultimate extermination of all non-White people throughout the world.

In the past, I used to become ticked off because of the constant airing of old and new movies and documentaries depicting how White Supremacists treated Black Africans throughout the Diaspora in general, and Black African Americans in particular.

12 Years A SlaveEvery time these movies and documentaries was shown in the media, for me, it was like snatching a scab off a festering emotional wound, and never allowing it to heal.

Then these White Supremacists would have the audacity to tell us as a race that we need to get over our past and move on.  They had the impudence to tell us that slavery has long been over and we (today’s White Supremacists) were not responsible for enslaving your people in the past.  In spite of the fact, that these modern-day White Supremacists are 100% responsible for today’s de-facto slavery.

JonestownAs foolish as I was, I used to drink this Kool-Aid (reference to Jim Jones) by agreeing with these White Supremacists.

That has changed because they now have the nerve to put out a manifesto on how I should react when (not “if,” because it is just a matter of time) I am stopped by their Gestapo styled police force.

They are not telling the cops how they MUST ACT when they stop me and other Black African Americans, because they say it is our responsibility to ensure that we do not upset the cops.

Riot CopsThese cops can use their Gestapo tactics to kick our doors in, throw flash and percussion grenades on our children ) while they are asleep, yet, we are instructed to not antagonize them, or defend ourselves in any way.

My eyes and ears are open and I now realize the necessity of constantly making and showing movies and documentaries depicting the past treatment of Black Africans throughout the Diaspora, as well as how we are still being treated by White Supremacists.

Miss BurningBy constantly showing these movies and documentaries, new generations of Black African Americans are seeing them for the first time.

The insanity of White Supremacy is that they believe they can keep showing us their insane hatred of Black Africans on TV and in the movies and we will just continue turning the other cheek and praying to their White Jesus for them to discontinue spitefully using and abusing us.

Habari GaniHABARI GANI(WHAT’S THE NEWS?)  We must loudly proclaim that we are declaring an end to our pain and suffering by embracing the reality that we are totally responsible for how these White Supremacist treat us.

Many of us who are elders have played “horsey” with our children and younger siblings.  We would get down on all fours and allow the younger ones to get on our backs and ride us like a horse.

We also know that once we grew tired of this game, all we had to do is tell the youngsters to get off our backs.  Should they choose not to get off, all we had to do was stand up.

The fact of the matter is that no one can ride your back while you are standing on your feet and not holding them on your back.

HorseyWe Black Africans throughout the Diaspora in general and especially those of us in America in particular must begin standing on our feet immediately and stop holding onto to these White Supremacists in expectation that they will continue providing crumbs for our needs.

My BookIt’s Still Time To Stop Blaming The White Man.  We must realize that we as a people have been begging and pleading with these White Supremacists for hundreds of years to treat us with human dignity and respect and for hundreds of years our pleas have fallen on insanely death ears.

DarwinWe Black African Americans must realize that the greatest threat to the total genetic extinction of the White race is all of us Black Africans throughout the DiasporaWhite Supremacists know and have known since the days of Charles Darwin that they are an endangered species on the brink of genetic annihilation.

White Supremacists know that their very survival as a people is totally dependent on their ability to genetically control and or exterminate those of us who are of Black African heritage – period.

Cradle Of CivilizationAll Black Africans throughout the Diaspora in general and every other race on this planet have a common origin.  Mother Africa is the place of origin for every man, woman and child on this big blue marble we call earth.

Claude McKayIt is long overdue for all living generations of Black African Americans to start doing for ourselves, which includes protecting ourselves from the planned genocide by White Supremacists.

KarengaBaba Dr. Maulana Karenga selected UMOJAUNITY as the first principle of the Nguzo Saba for specific reasons.

Before we can have KUJICHAGULIA (self-determination), we must first have UMOJA-UNITY!

Before we can have UJIMA (collective work and responsibility), we must first have UMOJA-UNITY!

Before we can have UJAMAA (cooperative economics), we must first have UMOJA-UNITY!

Before we can have NIA (purpose), we must first have UMOJA-UNITY!

Before we can have KUUMBA (creativity), we must first have UMOJA-UNITY!

Before we can have IMANI (faith), we must first have UMOJA-UNITY!

Please allow yourself a few minutes of your time to reflect on ways you can practice UMOJA-UNITY with our Black African American Brothers and Sisters.

Habari GaniHARAMBE, HARAMBE, HARAMBE (This is a work chant, so let us all get to work –NOW!)

Common SenseOh, what a blessing it is that my people do not read, think or use Common Sense says the Pastors, Pimps and Politicians.

harriet-tubman1“I had reasoned this out in my mind, there was one of two things I had a right to, liberty or death; if I could not have one, I would have the other.” Mother Harriet Tubman

I am dedicating my posts to Black African American females because a race can rise no higher than its’ females.

As in all of my posts, UNDERLINED WORDS are links.

I published the following post on my birthday, December 13, 2014 and I’ve decided since TV plays reruns, I too can rerun this post.  So, here is the revised version…

Gloria: Hello Brenda; girl how have you been?  Have you done your Christmas shopping yet?

BF MadnessBrenda: You know me, I’m always “SAD” during Xmas.  But I finished most of my Xmas shopping.  I fought that madness on “Black Friday” and boy was it crazy.  The crowds were humongous and the people were very rude; grabbing, pushing and shoving.  I almost got into a fight a couple of times.  Child, you know my temper; but they backed down before I really went off on them.

Secret Santa1I got some good deals though, and I still have to buy some more things for my family.  I also have to buy some things for my “Secret Santa” at work and I’m not sure what I’m going to give Pastor this year.  I just might do what I did last year and give him money.

Credit CardsChild, I can’t wait until all of this is over, so that my life can get back to normal.  At least until the credit card bills start rolling in.  I’m counting on my Income Tax to pay for most of my Christmas.  I just hope I don’t go crazy and spend too much like I did last year.

DebtI didn’t pay off my credit cards from all my Christmas shopping until May and boy was my husband mad.  He made me swear on God that I would never do that again.  But you know me, I always go overboard when it comes to Christmas.

Gloria: You’re lucky, I spent so much on Christmas last year that I am still paying on it now.  Oh well, you know what they say, “You can’t take it with you.”  Besides, Christmas only comes once a year and the Bible says, “It is better to give than to receive.”  (I did a Bible search with “Bible Gateway.com” and I could not find this quote.)

Brenda: I don’t like this time of year because everything is so hectic and I feel so rushed all of the time.

MacysGloria: Yeah, I know what you mean.  I wish I didn’t have to even get involved with Christmas.  It wouldn’t hurt my feelings if the government suddenly outlawed it.  I would save a lot of money and have half the stress.

Oh, did you hear, Target is having a “One Day Sale” this Friday and they are gonna have some great deals.

Brenda: Really, thanks for telling me, what time does it start?

Gloria: The doors open at 6:00 Am.  Child, I’m gonna be there at 5, because you know it’s gonna be a madhouse.

Target LineBrenda: I know what you mean, I’ll meet you there.  If you get there before me, save a space in line for me and I’ll do the same for you.

Gloria: OK.  I just might call into work and tell them I’m sick, because I know by the time I finish fighting that crowd, I will be sick and tired.

Brenda: Me too!  Then we can take our time and find some great bargains.  Good seeing you and we’ll talk again on Friday.  Don’t forget, save my place in line in case you get there before me.

Delusional Unicorn“A delusion (all underlined words are links) is a belief held with strong conviction despite superior evidence to the contrary.  As a pathology, it is distinct from a belief based on false or incomplete information, confabulation, dogma, illusion, or other effects of perception.”

God DelusionIn the field of psychology, the above definition applies to everything except religion.  It is acceptable behavior to not only believe in the existence of an imaginary person, you can actually see, hear and talk to that imaginary person as long as it is a religious deity.

Seneca The YoungerSeneca the Younger stated, “Religion is regarded by the common people as true; by the wise as false; and by rulers as useful.”

MarxKarl Marx viewed religion as the “opium of the masses,” because it is used by the ruling class to give poor people false hopes in believing they will have a better life in an imaginary place called “heaven.”

By the way, this place called “heaven” is allegedly located somewhere in the sky and you can only get there when you die.

To date, none of the worlds’ most sophisticated radar nor satellite detection systems have ever been able to locate this magical and mythical place called “heaven.”

After Xmas SalesIt is interesting that beginning on December 26th of every year, the merchants have the greatest sales of the year.  This is because on January 1st they will be assessed a tax on all merchandise remaining in their stores.

If these merchants were sincere about Christmas, it seems to me that they would have their biggest sales before December 25th, and Jesus Christ would receive all of the gifts instead of giving gifts to each other.

NativityAfter all, we are allegedly celebrating His birthday.  Why should we give anyone else a birthday present?  How would you feel if someone gave you a birthday party and all of your guests gave gifts to each other, and no one gave a gift to you?  Would you still have reason to celebrate the season?

Every year Black African Americans engage in delusional behavior by celebrating two mythical White characters simultaneously, both of whom was created by our White European enslavers for the sole purpose of enslaving the Colored people of the world.

SantaOn the one hand, we are misled into believing that “Santa Claus is coming to town,” while on the other hand we are taught that a, JesusWhite Jesus is the reason for the season.”

Minstrel ShowGood X JesusBy the way, some of you might remember what happened in the episode of the TV sitcom (Minstrel Show) Good Times, where the character Michael “James” wanted to replace the picture of the White Jesus with a picture of a “Black Jesus” and the character Flora, his mother “Wife” had a hissy fit.

Watch it for your selves and pay strict attention to all of the subliminal messages of White Superiority and Black Inferiority.

Even though there is absolutely, no historical, anthropological or archeological evidence substantiating the existence of the mythical religious White Savior we call Jesus Christ, the Christian world including Black Africans throughout the Diaspora celebrate His alleged birth annually on December 25th.

The only proof to the existence of this mythical White Jesus Christ can be found in the Bible and other religious texts, which cannot be used to substantiate this myth because it does not meet the criteria of the scientific method.

I know; some of you believe science and religion is antithetical because science requires thinking and logic, while religion relies solely on blind faith and blind obedience to the tenets of this faith as promulgated in the Bible and the pastors espousing them.  Those who accept Christianity as their religion accepts the doctrines of the Bible as being infallible and without errors.

Emperor ConstantineIn actuality, this mythical entity we call Jesus Christ was created/born in the summer of 325 AD when a council of 318 Roman Catholic Bishops convened under the auspices of Emperor Constantine in Nicaea.

Emperor Constantine, after conquering ancient Egypt, entered the temples, saw the sacred writings and symbolisms, and leaned unto his own understanding.  He then took what he understood those sacred writings to mean and convened the Council of Nicaea in 325 AD.

JCThis Council of Nicaea, met for the purpose of resolving differences between The Church of Alexandria as to whether the “Son” created Himself.  At the conclusion of this Council, we were given birth to the mythical character we now call Jesus Christ.

Ptolemy 1 EgyptPtolemy I Soter,(Soter means savior) was the First European King of Ancient Egypt’s Ptolemaic Dynasty.   It was he who created the world’s first image of the mythical character known as Jesus The Christ.  SerapisHe used the image of Serapis, a Graeco-Egyptian god.

This Nicaea Council repackaged and plagiarized the Sacred Writings of ancient Egypt, as well as other ancient sacred texts of the world’s sixteen previously crucified Saviors ,into Christianity, and forced this myth upon all the conquered peoples of the known world.  Thus, we have the birth of Christianity in general and Jesus Christ in particular.

MithraThe celebration of Christmas dates back to the ancient Romans, who celebrated the birth of Mithra, the God of the unconquerable sun, during the winter solstice on December 25th.  Initially Christianity did not celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

AscensionInstead, they celebrated His resurrection (Read my post on Easter).  His birth became important to the church rulers by the fourth century in order to convert the non-Christians.

Since pagan Rome was already celebrating the birth of Mithra, it became very easy for the powers-to-be to merge the two births into one; thus, celebrating the sun god was transformed into the celebration of the alleged “Son of God.”

Those living in the middle ages had replaced the ancient pagan rituals with the new Christmas ritual. Prior to the 1800s, celebrating Christmas was more like celebrating the Fourth of July, Halloween or the Mardi Gras.  Many Christmas parties turned into drunken orgies, as some do today.

Puritan England originally band Christmas because of the drunken orgies that took place as part of the celebration.  However, the masses were still celebrating it as a raucous holiday instead of a religious one.

Lord of misruleDuring the earlier Christmas celebrations, beggars were crowned, “The Lords of Misrule.”  They would then lead the partygoers to the houses of the rich and famous, and when they arrived, the rich and famous were obliged to give these beggars their best food and booze.  If they did not give the beggars their best, these beggars would engage in a trick or two.

The lyrics of an old Christmas song went as follows, “If you don’t give us what we want, down will come butler, bowl and all.”  Today, at most Christmas parties, the hosts & hostesses provide their best food as well as their most expensive booze.

Early American Protestants initially ignored Christmas, and celebrating it was forbidden in their churches.  Because of this, their church attendance was very low during the holiday seasons because their “sheep” were attending churches where Christmas was both condoned and celebrated.

As the saying goes, “If you can’t beat them, then you join them.”  The Protestant leaders acquiesced and began celebrating Christmas, in order to keep its members from joining other churches.

St NickAlthough Santa Claus originated in America, Saint Nicholas was a Greek Orthodox Bishop of the middle ages. In Holland he was called Sinter Claus and the Dutch brought the tradition to America.  Throughout Europe, December 6th was known as St. Nicholas Day and all of the “good children” would receive gifts.  Sadly, none of the “bad children” received any gifts on this day.

Clement MooreThe earlier depiction of Santa Claus was that of a pagan sorcerer as well as a fat drunk riding on a sleigh pulled by turkeys. In 1822, Clement Clark Moore, an Episcopal preacher in New York City wrote a poem for his children, entitled, “The Night Before Christmas.”

Santa SleighAs you now see, it was this preacher who created and perpetuated the lie about flying reindeers and Santa Claus coming down fiery chimneys.

By the 1840s, the myth of Santa Claus became an advertising success.  The retailers began bringing Santa Claus to their stores because it made good dollars and $ense.

Obey ImpulseSanta Claus was able to convince the buying public to buy just about anything on impulse during the Christmas season.

Xmas Parade2By the 1920s, the Christmas parade had become an annual holiday event in New York City.  Today, over 80% of Americans celebrate Christmas in one way or the other.  With all of their extravagant spending, they half-heartedly try to say that, “White Jesus is the reason for the season.”

Toys 4 TotsIn reality, the mythological character, Jesus Christ has never been the reason for the season. It has always been about spending money on $tuff that people do not need.  The U.S. Marine Corps has the, “Toys for Tots” program that give toys to needy children.

It seems to me that “needy” children are in need of things other than toys.  In fact, toys do not qualify as a need; they are merely wants, because your “needs” are life sustaining and they only consist of food, clothing and shelter.

Xmas MagicOne of the first lies that we tell our children is the lie about Christmas.  We tell our Black African American babies if they have been “good” all year, Santa Claus will bring them “lots of toys.”

Many of us have taught our children not to speak to strangers and if a stranger tries to touch them, they are to run away – screaming and yelling to an authority figure for urgent help.

santa-485x650However, you can go to any mall or large department store in America and see crying, screaming Black African American children being forcibly dragged by their parents to an alter where a White man in a red suit and bearded disguise is waiting to have them placed on his lap for the primary purpose of lying to them.  This White man will promise them that he will be the one granting them their heart’s desires.

Many poor Black African American parents have scuffled and scrapped all year to provide the very basic items of food, clothing and shelter to their families, only to go into debt to buy Christmas $tuff, or go begging various organizations to “give them” Christmas toys for their children, in hopes that they too will have a White Christmas.

Then, they will lie to their children, telling them that some fat, bearded White man, in a red suit flew through the sky in a sleigh, pulled by ten flying reindeers (without wings), visiting every house on this planet in only one night.

They also are taught that this same fat, bearded White man climbed down their imaginary chimney and placed their presents under the Christmas tree.

It does not matter that many Black African American homes do not have chimneys.  They will still hang stockings on artificial fireplaces, in hopes that White Santa will appear and fill them with holiday cheer.

Millions of Black African Americans will spend billions of dollars this year, celebrating a myth, and telling blatant lies to their impressionable children.  They will tell their children that if they are good, a White Santa Claus will bring them their hearts’ desires.

My definition of stupidity is repeatedly engaging in the same detrimental behavior and expecting it to turn out differently.  As social beings, many of us are afraid that our peers will ostracize us, if we do not go along with these ritualistic behaviors.

Xmas TreeBlack African Americans worship White people so much, that we do not see the injurious affects this Christmas lie has on our children.  Many of us have taught these young impressionable minds that a White Santa came down an imaginary chimney and brought these gifts for them so they could have the White Christmas they have dreamed of.

In the next breath, we teach our Black African American children that Christmas is the celebration of the birth of a White Jesus Christ.  We then give children money to buy birthday gifts for everyone except White Jesus Christ.  We will even give them money to buy gifts for us to place under the Christmas tree.

EdenInitially, evergreen trees were decorated with apples as symbols of the Garden of Eden and these apples were gradually transformed into the modern day Christmas ornaments.

Holly was typically a winter decoration, which was used to symbolize the crown of thorns that Jesus, was allegedly forced to wear.

The “infallible” Bible speaks against having Christmas trees, as written in the Book of Jeremiah, beginning with the tenth chapter:

Xmas Tree1“Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.  For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.  They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.  They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go.  Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.”

When they get older, our Black African American children will realize that their parents, as well as the other significant adults in their lives, have been lying to them about White Santa Claus.

Since these adults have lied to them about White Santa Claus and they witness all of the foolishness that is taking place in many Black African American churches, they will begin to question these adults’ beliefs about their White Jesus Christ.

Cruel TruthThe real tragedy is that by the time they begin to question these lies, both of the “white lies” will have been so ingrained into them that they dare not challenge the status quo, so they will just perpetuate the delusion, just like we, their parents and elders have been doing for centuries.

Lamar Odom2Friday, October 16, 2015 marked the 20th Anniversary of the historic “Million Man March” with very little, if any fanfare.  The news media was dominated by politics and of course, former LA Lakers’ Lamar Odom  who was found unresponsive a week ago in a Nevada “Brothel” (a high-price whorehouse) after reportedly wracking-up a $75,000.00 bill in three days.  All I can say is, “More dollar$ than $en$e.”

I Was ThereAs one of the millions who attended the 1995 Million Man March, I decide to share with you my experiences of that fateful weekend.  I published my experiences in the chapter on “African American Males” in my second book, “IT’S STILL TIME TO STOP BLAMING THE WHITE MAN.”  It reads as follows:

Million Men2In January 1995, I heard about preparations for the March on Washington. I really dismissed it, thinking that it would be similar to the 1963 march.  Then I heard that Minister Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam put out a call for one million African American males to come to Washington, D.C. for a “Day of Atonement.”

As the date came closer, I began hearing nationally prominent (meaning acceptable to white folks) “Negro” civil rights leaders and preachers, both male and female, speak out against the “Million Man March.”  The NAACP , CORE, convicted felon, Rev. Dr. Henry Lyons  of the National Baptist Conference, USA, et al, were vehemently opposed to this March.

The teachings of Willie Lynch , regarding keeping us divided and never allowing us to trust one another were in full play.  As opposition grew, I knew that this march would be unlike any other march in the history of African Americans.  In early September, I made a commitment to be one among the million.

On Sunday evening, October 15, 1995, my wife and I drove to the departure area for what I felt to be a Holy Pilgrimage.  The area of our departure was directly across the street from one of Augusta’s most prominent African American churches.  The significance of this is that the church was having services that evening in celebration of the Augusta Classics  football weekend.

There were four chartered buses going to the Million Man March and no one from this church felt the need to come out to pray with us and wish us a safe trip.  In fact, it was reported that many of the area pastors had admonished the males in their congregations not to go on this march.  However, this march proved to be much bigger than any pastor or African American organizations that opposed it.

KKK Arian NationAs we began boarding the buses, I had an array of emotions.  I knew that I was embarking on a history–making event and I was apprehensive about the possible outcome.  I had heard that many white racist groups, such as the KKK, Skinheads, Aryan Nation  as well as southern law enforcement had made preparations to disrupt this march in any way they could. Therefore, I had no idea what we might encounter along the way.  As I embraced my wife, I wasn’t sure that I’d see her again; yet I felt the need to be one in the million.

Once on board the buses, we received word that there was a brother who wanted to join us, but he didn’t have the bus fare.  Without hesitation, those of us on our bus unanimously invited him to join us.

Bean PieThe Muslim sisters gave him bean pies and other food and we made room for him. As the buses began pulling off, the Muslim sisters lined the curb and saluted us, amid cheers, applause and tears from our loved ones.

NOI WomenAgain, I must reiterate that pastors, ministers, and preachers were conspicuously absent from this crowd of well-wishers.  Massa had forbid the march; therefore his servants could not condone nor support it.

That was all right because the brotherly love and bonding, which occurred on our bus throughout the entire pilgrimage to D.C., exceeded my greatest expectations.  As we traveled down the highway, we received outpourings of prayers and salutes from African American motorists.

African GreatnessFor me, it was such a blessing to be a part of this historical event because it reinforced in me the greatness of people of African ancestry.

Million MenWhen we arrived in our nation’s capital on the morning of October 16, 1995, we were greeted with so much love.  Brothers and sisters standing at local bus stops saluted us with clenched fists and shouted praises and excitement that we were there.

In fact a cab driver with a passenger pulled along side of us to tell us that we were going in the wrong direction.  When we told him that we were going to a local church to freshen up before participating in the March, he immediately said, “I’ll lead you there, follow me.”

MillionsOnce at the March, as far as I could see in any direction, there were African American males.  This was the first time in my entire life that I’d been amidst unfamiliar African American males and didn’t have any feelings of apprehension or concern for my safety.

There was nothing but brotherly love among all of us.  I inadvertently bumped into another brother and we both immediately began apologizing to each other.

SisterThere were African American females present and they received nothing but the utmost of respect.  At no time during the march did I hear any profanity nor did I witnessed the use of any drugs other than tobacco.

Maya AngelouBy the time Dr. Maya Angelou spoke, there was not a dry eye anywhere to be seen, including my own.

When the collection began, the taller brothers were passing the buckets around so those of us who were shorter could contribute.  Not once did I hear of anyone attempting to steal any money from the collection.

It is interesting to note that the same pastor who was conducting church service for the Augusta Classics decided to jump on the bandwagon after he, along with the entire world recognized that the “Million Man March” was a resounding success.

This pastor was running for a local political office, so he put out a call for a “10,000 people rally,” to support his campaign.  From what I was told (because I chose not to attend) he barely had two hundred people attending.  Needless to say, he lost the election.

Although the focus of this chapter has been on African-American males, it also applies to African American females.

Prison Industrial ComplexThere is a new growth industry in America’s prison industrial complex, the incarceration of more and more African American females.  This has much to do with the fact that there is an increasing number of females committing crimes and getting caught.

Women InmatesThere are an ever-increasing number of African American females engaging in criminal activities that in the past were committed by males. The same reason for their criminal and drug-related actions apply to these females. They are engaging in their specific behaviors because they choose to do so, period. Stop looking for any other excuse and give them credit for being able to make choices and accept the consequences of their actions.

Lady JusticeContrary to popular belief, justice is not blind.  In fact, here in Augusta, Georgia, they will let you know that she is not blind because they have a statue of a WhiteLady Justice” without her blindfold, standing in front of the courthouse.

The following is a letter that was reported to have been placed on the bed of a young African American male who was incarcerated in a Chicago city jail:

Death Toll“The Ku Klux Klan would like to take this time to salute and congratulate all Gang Bangers for the slaughter of over 4,000 black people since 1975.  You are doing a marvelous job.  Keep killing each other for nothing.  The streets are still not you nword… It is ours.

CoffinYou are killing each other for our property.  You are killing what could be future black doctors, lawyers, and businessmen that we won’t have to compete with.  And the good thing about it is that you are killing the youth.  So we won’t have to worry about you nword in generations to come.

PrisonWe would further like to thank all the judges who have over sentenced those nword to prison.  We are winning again.  Pretty soon, we will be able to go back to raping your women.  Because all the men will be gone.

GangSo you Gang Bangers… Keep up the good work.  We love to read about drive-by shootings.  We love to hear how many nword get killed over the weekends.  We can tolerate the nword with jungle fever …Because that further breaks down the race.

CryingTo all Gang Bangers across the world: we don’t love you nword, but we can appreciate you Gang Bangers.  You are doing a wonderful job in eliminating the black race.  Without the men… Your women cannot reproduce… Unless of course, we do it for them.

Then we will have successfully eliminated a race, thanks to your help and commitment to killing each other.  If most of you nword Gang Bangers cannot read this letter, it is okay.  Go pull a trigger and kill a nword.”  Thank you – Author Unknown

It is estimated that tens of thousands of Black African Americans (mostly males) have been wantonly slaughtered in the past 20 years.  Furthermore, doing this time span millions of Black African Americans (mostly males) have been added to America’s “Prison Industrial Complex.”

FarrakhanAlthough Minister Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam is based in Chicago, Chicago is rapidly becoming the murder capital of America.

King LouieIn fact, many “Gang Bangers” proudly call it, “Chiraq.”  I wonder why Minister Farrakhan cannot stop the murder and violence that is occurring in his own front yard?  I also wonder what happened to the millions of dollars that was raised on that faithful day in 1995?

We Black African Americans continue to remain at the top of the lists in everything negative,  and at the bottom of the list in everything positive.  Why is that?   For the time being, I leave this question for you my readers to answer.

What have those of us who were one among the millions been doing these past twenty years to elevate our race out of this muck and mire?  As for me, I’ve written my second book, “IT’S STILL TIME TO STOP BLAMING THE WHITE MAN,” and published nearly 100 articles on my blog in hopes of educating and enlightening our people and I am not done yet.

Thank you…

‘Love is when your puppy licks your face even after you left him alone all day.’ Mary Ann – age 4

‘I know my older sister loves me because she gives me all her old clothes and has to go out and buy new ones.’ Lauren – age 4

Good Friends‘When you love somebody , your eyelashes go up and down and little stars come out of you.’ (what an image) Karen – age 7

‘Love is when Mommy sees Daddy on the toilet and she doesn’t think it’s gross..’ Mark – age 6

Infinity‘You really shouldn’t say ‘I love you’ unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget.’ Jessica – age 8

And the final one:

SilenceThe winner was a four year old child whose next door neighbor was an elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife. Upon seeing the man cry , the little boy went into the old gentleman’s yard , climbed onto his lap , and just sat there.

When his Mother asked what he had said to the neighbor , the little boy said , ‘Nothing , I just helped him cry’

I am dedicating all of my remaining posts this year to Black African American females because a race can rise no higher than its’ females.

As in all of my posts, UNDERLINED WORDS are links.

Clip ArtLast month I delivered the keynote address at the sixth annual Augusta Coalition Addiction Recovery Awareness (ACARA) dinner. When the executive director of ACARA, Mr. Ken Wilson asked me to provide the keynote address, he specifically requested that I speak on “Human/Sex Trafficking.”

As providence would have it, I had recently attended the 37th Annual Cross Cultural Conference where I heard Mrs. Shirley McClerklin-Motley, the Program Coordinator for the Social Work Department at Coker College give an excellent presentation on “Domestic Child Sex Trafficking” in the state of South Carolina.

ATL CapitalAs I always say, anything you want to know is just a keystroke away, so I stroked the keys on my keyboard, allowing my fingers to go searching. To my amazement, there was a bevy of information on “Human/Sex Trafficking” focusing specifically on the state of Georgia in general and Georgia’s capital Atlanta, in particular.

With shock and awe, I was dumbfounded when all of the data/research that I encountered said that Atlanta, Georgia is the “Human/Sex Trafficking” capital of America. Hold this thought right here, as I define both “Human Trafficking” and “Sex Trafficking.”

Neo SlaveryHuman Traffickingis the act of compelling or coercing a person’s labor, services, or commercial sex acts; or using children under the age of 18 for commercial sex acts. The coercion can be subtle or overt, physical or psychological, but it must be used to coerce a victim into performing labor, services, or commercial sex acts.”

Sex Trafficking “is the use of force, coercion or deception to recruit, entice, harbor, transport, provide, obtain, or maintain, another person for the purpose of commercial sexual activities. If the victim is a minor under age 18, force, coercion and deception is not required in cases of sex trafficking.”

Contrary to what most of us think, “Human/Sex Trafficking” is not new to America in general and the South in particular. “Human/Sex Trafficking” began in the United States before the states were united. In order for the plantation-based agricultural economy to flourish in the South, it was dependent upon a steady flow of cheap labor on a very large scale.

I S ContractPoor European White men, women, and children from England, Scotland and Ireland initially filled this need for cheap labor. In order to escape their impoverished existence, these poor people would voluntarily agree to become Indentured Servants” for a period of 4 to 7 years for the price of passage and room and board upon arriving to the New World.

An exception to volunteering as “Indentured Servants” occurred in 1619. Dutch pirates kidnapped 19 Africans from the Spanish & brought them to Jamestown, Va. and traded them for provisions. Since the Spanish had baptized these Africans, they could not become slaves because it was illegal for British subjects to enslave Christians.

Prior to 1640, Virginia had no laws regarding slavery therefore it was a gradual transformation of turning Africans into slaves. Consequently, these 19 Africans immediately became “Indentured Servants” and sold to the highest bidder. Just like the White Europeans, after serving 7 years, once released they were given land, westward of the original settlement.

Indentured servitude fulfilled a dual purpose of meeting the needs of cheap labor and populating the colonies. However, due to the explosion of the plantation system indentured servitude could not satisfy these demands.

John PunchOn July 9, 1640, “Human/Sex Trafficking” officially began in the colonies with the punishment of three runaway indentured servants.  Their owner Hugh Gwyn (a White man) captured these three indentured servants, (two Whites who were named Victor and James and one Black named John Punch) and all three was given a sentence of 30 lashes each. In addition, the two Whites were to serve their master, Hugh Gwyn for an additional year and at the completion of this servitude, both were to serve the colony of Virginia for three additional years.

For some unknown reason John Punch was ordered to serve Hugh Gwyn or his assigns for the rest of his natural life. Therefore, he became the first legalized Black African slave in the British colonies.

Anthony Johnson picThe second Black African enslaved in the British colonies was John Casor. The irony was, Anthony Johnson, another Black African enslaved him. Initially John Casor was the indentured servant of Anthony Johnson, who himself was a former indentured servant.

When it came time for Anthony Johnson to release John Casor he refused. Along came Robert Parker (a White man) who told John Casor that all he had to do to gain his freedom was to leave, which is what he did.  John Casor then signed on to become Robert Parker’s indentured servant.

Anthony Johnson had a hissy-fit and sued Robert Parker in the North Hampton Court in 1664. The court ruled in 1665 that Anthony Johnson could hold John Casor indefinitely, thus John Casor became the second permanent slave in the colonies.

Va Slave CodeThe law of karma will right all wrongs and to the chagrin of Anthony Johnson and his heirs, Virginia enacted the slave codes in 1705, drastically reducing the rights of all free Blacks. Therefore, the heirs of Anthony Johnson had to flee the state, leaving all of their possessions behind (including their slaves) or risk being enslaved themselves.

With the passage of Virginia’s slave codes, “Human/Sex Trafficking” in the Americas was given a green light which is still green even to this day.

13th AmendmentThe laws against “Human/Sex Trafficking” are rooted in the prohibition against slavery and involuntary servitude guaranteed by the Thirteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution.

White SlaveryWith the abolition of American Slavery, “Human/Sex Trafficking” became known as, “White Slavery,” because initially European White women were being trafficked into the Middle East.

The “Mann Act” of 1920 was passed by Congress to protect White American women from sexual exploitation and slavery. It became a felony to transport White women and girls across state lines for immoral purposes like prostitution.

Head StandBack to Atlanta aka “Hot-lanta,” because of its “sexy nightlife.” A report, conducted by Washington D.C.’s Urban Institute for the U.S. Justice Department, looked at the sex trade in eight major American cities and found that Atlanta had the largest sex trade.

Atlanta ValuesIn other words, Atlanta, Ga. is America’s Sex Trafficking Capital .Atlanta’s sex trade rose from $232 million to $290 million in only five years.

ATL Sex Drugs GunsIn comparison, $290 million is more than the revenue generated by metro Atlanta’s illegal drug and gun trafficking combined.

What is the culprit?

Freaknik Falcons GameMega FestThe many sporting, civic events and conventions in Atlanta bring tens of thousands of amoral people to town weekly with lots of time and money.

Stacks of CashLas Vegas is named Sin City, while Atlanta is aka. Sex City.”  According to FBI statistics, Atlanta ranks #1 among the top 14 cities in the United States for domestic sex trafficking of minors. Approximately five hundred girls and boys from across the country/world are lured into Atlanta’s sex trafficking every month.

13 Year OldIn spite of international laws, the United Nations says human trafficking is a $32 billion per year business. The victims include run away children, low-wage women and illegal immigrants.   For them, the chance of their escaping is very slim and the odds of rescuing them, is even slimmer.

Average Age These children, many under the age of 12, are captured, and flown to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport from different cities and countries and met by pimps. This is where their hell on earth begins.

Love and Hip HopFurthermore, Atlanta has become the Hollywood of the South.”  According to Wikipedia, Georgia’s film industry ranks fourth in the nation, behind California, New York and Texas. Because of this, many young aspiring actors find it easier getting to Atlanta than the other film capitals. Once in Atlanta, they fall easy prey to the pimps and sexual predators.

OnlineFinding sex is just one key-stroke away and you can just “charge it.” The big three credit card companies, MasterCard, Visa and American Express, are prohibiting cardholders from using credit cards for adult ads on the classified advertising website Backpage.com

Backpage.com, is the second largest ad listing website in the U.S. after Craigslist and the authorities and anti-trafficking advocates have accused Backpage.com and others of allowing the sex trafficking of minors through these adult Web pages.

Caution: Do not go to this site because it is being monitored by law enforcement!!!

Hartsfield Jackson AirportThese pedophiles can place their perverted orders online, fly into Atlanta’s airport and be picked up by pimps and taken to hotels where their enslaved victims are waiting. Within two to three hours of arrival, they can fly back to their suburban homes in time for dinner with their wife and children.

Jared FogleSubway “Sex Trafficker” Jared Fogle  became an international “Sex Trafficker.” He is quoted as saying, “The younger, the better.” Therefore, he repeatedly flew to Thailand to have sex with six year-old babies. Evidence against him included more than 150,000 text messages and tens of thousands of photos and videos.

James and Sandra Davis Sandra Davis Wayne BeardenIn 2008, James & Sandra Davis of Macon, Ga. bought a used 1998 Dodge Minivan from Wayne Bearden. In lieu of sending their $281.00 per month payments, they sent their twelve year old daughter to Bearden every month for two years as payment.

NAMBLAMany pedophiles want to abolish the age of consent to allow adults to have sex freely with prepubescent children, arguing that these babies can consent.  One such group is “North American Man/Boy Love Association” or NAMBLA for short.

Buying SexGeorgia Law

HB 200 went into effect on July 1, 2011, and the punishment now fits the crime. HB 200:

  • Substantially increases the punishment for human trafficking from a possible one-year sentence to a minimum of ten years. If the trafficking causes a minor to commit sex acts by coercion or deception, human traffickers now face 25 years to life in prison,
  • Takes the important step of not allowing the age of consent (16) or the lack of knowledge of the age of the victim to be used as a defense.
  • Authorizes asset forfeiture for property derived from or used in trafficking
  • Provides training for law enforcement.
  • Makes victims of human trafficking eligible for victim compensation for the serious mental and emotional trauma they experience.

Crying ChildPlease share this post with everyone you know because all of our babies/children are at risk of becoming a “sex slave.” I am available to provide a “Human/Sex Trafficking” workshop/presentation to your church or civic group.

harriet-tubman1“I had reasoned this out in my mind, there was one of two things I had a right to, liberty or death; if I could not have one, I would have the other.” Mother Harriet Tubman

I am dedicating all of my remaining posts this year to Black African American females because a race can rise no higher than its’ females.

As in all of my posts, UNDERLINED WORDS are links.

Ink PenToday marks the 50th Anniversary of the 1965 Voting Rights Act and we Black African Americans are worse off today than we were before it was enacted; because the “1965 Voting Rights Act” came with an expiration date.  Due to this expiration date, we are continuously begging the “Good White American Politicians” to renew our “privilege” to vote primarily for them.  Therefore, all we really received with the passing of the “1965 Voting Rights Act” are ink pens given away by President Lyndon B. Johnson.

On the other hand, the Fifteenth Amendment to the U. S. Constitution was ratified on February 3, 1870 specifically for Black African Americans, guaranteeing us the RIGHT (not privilege) to vote in perpetuity.

This Amendment did not come with an expiration date; therefore, it does not require White American politicians to vote for extensions.  As the saying goes, “If you do not use it, then you will lose it”, or, “If you know your Rights, then you have Rights; and if you do not know your Rights, you do not have any Rights”.

LBJ & MLKHowever, the “1965 Voting Rights Act”, deceitfully classifies Black African Americans as “Second Class Citizens”, because it is a privilege that we are “given” permission to vote, – for the time being.  Because of America’s Prison Industrial Complex, and “Voter ID” mandates in many states, Black African Americans are rapidly losing this “privilege” to vote.

Furthermore, politically speaking, our political strength is worse today than it was prior to the signing of the “1965 Voting Rights Act”.  For instance, by 1964, we had about 350 Black African American elected officials in America.  In 1970, we had  1, 469 and our number of elected officials reached 9,040 by 2000.

Today we have nearly 10,000 Black African American elected officials, which includes Mayors, City Council Members, School Board Members, State Politicians and nearly fifty Congressman, three U. S. Senators, one President and no Governors.

Infant MortalitySadly, because of our elected officials, Black African Americans are last in everything positive and first in everything negative. Our infant mortality rate is higher than most so-called “Third World Nations“.

Freedmen BureauWe have the highest school dropout rate in the history of public education since the Freedmen’s Bureau created the public education system for Black African Americans in 1865.

PipelineIn addition, the schools that are supposed to be educating our young Black African American children are the worst in the nation.  In fact, too many of them are nothing more than “School-to-prison pipelines”.

CellOur children come out of these schools barely able to read or write.  Based on standardized testing, the owners of America’s Prison Industrial Complexes knows approximately how many prison beds they will need for us by the time our children reach the fifth grade.

This is based on the fact that, Black African American high school dropouts have a higher chance of going to prison than any other American school drop-outs.

Pre and Post SlaveryToday, there are nearly as many Black African Americans enslaved in America’s Prison Industrial Complex, as there were actual slaves on the eve of the Civil War in 1861.

A White American male high school dropout, with a criminal record has a greater chance of being given the same job a Black African American male college graduate, without a criminal record was denied.

This is because White American employees, as well as all other races (except Black African Americans) prefer employing members of their own race – which is perfectly OK.

CBCFoolishly, a Congressional Black Caucus (CBC)  Delegation went to the Silicon Valley this week with hats in hand, begging Apple, and Google, et.al to GIVE Black African Americans a few more of THEIR jobs.  Currently, Apple has about 7% of their available jobs set aside for Black African Americans and Google has set aside only 2% of their available jobs for us.

CBC BeggarsThis CBC delegation’s time and energy could have served us better, if they had met with representatives from all of our Black African American churches and organizations and devised a way of divesting the billions of dollars we have in White American banks and Credit Unions.

We could then put this money into our own banks and credit unions for loans for Black African American “BIG” (not “small businesses”) Business start-ups with the understanding that the majority of their employees MUST be Black African Americans.

Furthermore, if Politicians in general and Black African American politicians in particular would stop falsely classifying “inner-city” Black African Americans as “minorities” and correctly classify us as the “majorities” that we are, then we would become eligible for 90% of the contracts and the true White American “minorities” would receive the 10% minority set-asides.

Even though Black African Americans are solely responsible for electing most of the Black African American politicians, once in office, these politicians tend to forget this fact. Suddenly, they want to become the elected official of “all the people”, which is being politically correct.

However, the non-Black African American politicians’ primary emphasis is on those members of their own race first, then, everyone else gets the leftover crumbs.

Even worse, far too many of our Black African American politicians go into office to satisfy their own greed.

NaginFor instance, the former Mayor of New Orleans, Mayor Ray Nagin, received a ten year prison sentence for corruption.

Ed McIntyreIn my own city of Augusta, Ga., former Mayor Edward M. McIntyre who was first of only two Black African American Elected Mayors in the city’s history spent five years in prison for his extortion conviction in a failed plot to receive kickbacks from developers of the city’s riverfront property.

WalkerAlso, in my hometown of Augusta, Ga., State Senator Charles Walker spent ten years in prison for tax evasion, mail fraud and conspiracy (127 counts, in all).

Marion BarryFormer DC Mayor, Marion Barry spent six months in jail for cocaine possession.

JJs ToysFormer Congressman Jessie Jackson, Jr.  went to prison for “misusing” more than $750,000.00 in campaign funds. Fortunately for him and unfortunately for us taxpayers, he will receive $8,700.00 per month in disability payments and $45,000.00 per year as his federal pension.

Your online search for corrupt Black African American politicians will unfortunately reveal hundreds more.

Putting all of this in perspective, seventy years ago, Japan had two nuclear bombs dropped on them by America. Both its’ country as well as its’ economy was destroyed because they LOST the war.

Today, Japan’s economy ranks third in the world, and Black African Americans have a lot to do with it because we buy many Japanese products.

Americans cannot call any business on the telephone, without having to choose between using English or Spanish. This is because the Hispanic politicians, as well as Black African American politicians, including President Obama have demanded this for the Hispanic people.

In fact, America is probably the only country in the world where its’ citizens, must learn the language of its legal and illegal immigrants.

The agenda of all Black African American elected officials SHOULD BE to elevate Black African Americans, without feeling any guilt whatsoever.

In conclusion, let us stop the hype of getting excited about the “1965 Voting Rights Act”.  In fact, lets allow it to expire and demand that we Black African Americans receive all of our rights that have been guaranteed us under the Thirteenth Amendment (abolished slavery), Fourteenth Amendment (citizenship rights and equal protection) and Fifteenth Amendment (the RIGHT to vote).

NaturallyThe following is a letter written in response to an article appearing today on MSN.com entitled: ” Trooper in Sandra Bland arrest had been disciplined”.

To: Mr. Terry Wallace,

I am writing you in response to the article you published today, “Trooper in Sandra Bland arrest had been disciplined”.

Pointing TaserSir, it appears you made a gross error in writing this article when you published, “In this July 10, 2015 file frame from dashcam video provided by the Texas Department of Public Safety, trooper Brian Encinia arrests Sandra Bland after she became combative during a routine traffic stop in Waller…DALLAS (AP)”.

You erroneously used the word “combative”, which as you know is an adjective meaning “ready or inclined to fight; pugnacious:” as defined by “Dictionary.com”.

on ground 2By using this word “combative”, you are easily misleading your readers into believing Ms. Sandra Bland physically assaulted Trooper Brian Encinia, which justified his arresting her.  In essence, your article is saying that Ms. Sandra Bland’s arrest was legal and whatever happened because of her “LEGAL” arrest is solely her responsibility.

As we all know, from viewing the same dashcam video that you reviewed, Ms. Sandra Bland’s arrest was due to her intelligently articulating her reasons for being irritated, thus challenging Trooper Encinia’s justification for stopping her.

Brian EnciniaFor reasons known only to Trooper Brian Encinia, he decided to arrest Ms. Sandra Bland immediately after she refused to obey his UNLAWFUL REQUEST to put out HER cigarette, while sitting in HER car.

Encinias YankingAt no time during Trooper Brian Encinia’s illegal confrontation did Ms. Sandra Bland ever become “COMBATIVE” with him.  On the contrary, Trooper Brian Encinia became illegally “COMBATIVE” towards Ms. Sandra Bland and not the other way around.

Mr. Wallace, as a reporter, you have a professional, moral and legal obligation to report the news truthfully, and without bias or prejudice.  Your wording of this article skews the facts in favor of Trooper Brian Encinia’s illegal activities during this traffic-stop.

Standing N JailMs. Sandra Bland is the victim of illegal policing, which resulted in her MURDER as a direct result of the illegal actions of Trooper Brian Encinia.

CoffinI am requesting that you write a retraction in regards to your falsely accusing Ms. Sandra Bland of becoming “COMBATIVE” along with an apology to the family and friends of Ms. Sandra Bland, as well as to your readers for your blatantly erroneous statement and misleading inference in this article.

ProgramI will publish this letter on my blog at http://www.itsstilltime.wordpress.com.

Mr. Jerry Smith, LCSW, LMSW

In JailIn loving memory of Ms. Sandra Annette Bland, who was born on February 7, 1987, in Naperville, Illinois and MURDERED by Texas State Trooper Brian Encinia on July 10, 2015 in Waller County, Texas and died alone, three days later in a jail cell in the Waller County, Texas jail.Corpse

MourningNeither she, nor her family will be able to rest in peace until her murder(s) have been found guilty and become the recipient(s) of Texas justice and there is an end to the wanton, wholesale murder of Black African Americans by America’s Law Enforcement as well as by the hands of other Black African Americans.

Below is an email I received from Arisha at Color Of Change.org regarding renaming a Charleston, S.C. street. Following this letter is my “Open Letter” reply.

“Dear Jerry,

Last Friday, South Carolina officials removed the Confederate flag on the state capitol grounds in South Carolina for good. Civil rights groups have been fighting for this for decades. Tragically, it took the killing of nine innocent Black people at Emanuel AME in Charleston to mobilize politicians to take the flag down. Now that they are listening, it’s time to face the other symbols of racism and remnants of slavery that haunt our country. Even though the flag was taken down in Columbia, 100 miles from Charleston, there are still signs of racism gripping anyone who walks through the doors of Emanuel AME.

HonorThemWill you join us in demanding that Charleston City Council change the name of Calhoun Street to Emanuel 9 Way in honor of members of the church?

Yes, I will sign the petition to honor them.

The church itself is located at 110 Calhoun Street, a street named for pro-slavery politician and states’ rights advocate John C. Calhoun. Calhoun famously called slavery “a positive good” and described the entire Black race as “low, degraded, and savage.”1 Though he never lived to see the firing shots, Calhoun was key in helping to ignite the Civil War. That the City of Charleston still chooses to honor him with this street name is shameful.

But Charleston has another history. It is a history of the men and women who waged resistance against the exploitation of Black people. This history includes Denmark Vesey, a former slave who purchased his own freedom and helped establish Emanuel AME in Charleston in 1816.2 Within the walls of Emanuel AME, Vesey planned a slave uprising that would have taken place on July 14, 1822 had it not been revealed to a local slave owner.3 As the leader of this uprising, Vesey is also a symbol of Black resistance, making ‘Mother’ Emanuel AME a celebrated historical landmark today.

Tell Charleston City Council that Calhoun Street should be Emanuel 9 Way.

This week, as we remember the anniversary of Denmark Vesey’s planned uprising for freedom, and the Emanuel 9 who lost their lives in last month’s attack, we are reminded that the fight for racial justice continues. Calhoun Street should be renamed Emanuel 9 Way to memorialize the beloved members of the congregation who were killed in the attack on the church—Tywanza Sanders, Cynthia Hurd, Reverend Clementa Pinckney, Reverend Sharonda Coleman-Singleton, Myra Thompson, Ethel Lance, Reverend Daniel Simmons, Sr., Reverend DePayne Middleton-Doctor, and Susie Jackson.

Join us in telling Charleston City Council that now is the time to be on the right side of history.

Thanks and Peace,

Arisha Michelle HatchHello Sister Arisha,

I look forward to receiving and reading emails from you and the rest of the Color Of Change team because they are both thought-provoking and informative and I encourage you to continue your great work.

I feel compelled to respond to this particular email because I perceive you are missing the mark by focusing on the wrong person(s) and issues.  My response is an “Open Letter”, that I will be posting on my blog @ www.itsstilltime.wordpress.com.

PinckneyThe death of our nine brothers and sisters was indeed a tragedy and we must remember it as such, just not in the way you are proposing.  Excluding State Senator Clementa C. Pinckney, the remaining eight victims were not publicly working towards the improvement of Black African Americans.

Sister Arisha what positive impact will renaming Calhoun Street to “Emanuel 9 Way” have on how we Black African Americans are treating one another?  True, Dylan Roof murdered nine Black African Americans in “Cold blood” however; we are killing more than nine of us on a weekly basis.

Just this past July Fourth weekend, we killed seven of us, after shooting nearly sixty of us and this was just in Chicago during one weekend.  I invite you to read my post: “The Making of a Slave” by Willie Lynch at my blog: http://www.itsstilltime.wordpress.com.

By renaming, the street from “Calhoun Street” to “Emanuel 9 Way” dishonors Charleston’s Black African American residents as well as all Black African American tourists.

I say this because renaming Calhoun Street to “Emanuel 9 Way” both empowers and immortalizes Dylan Roof, the shooter of the “Emanuel 9” and all White Supremacists because one cannot think of “Emanuel 9 Way” without thinking of Dylan Roof.  Therefore, our emotional energies will automatically focus on a negative and depressive thought every time we think of “Emanuel 9 Way”.

Roof Bible Study PicFurthermore, the “Emanuel 9” embraced and trusted Dylan Roof, a White American male stranger only because of his “whiteness”, which is what resulted in their being murdered.  Evidence of their trust is on cell phone pictures proudly taken of Dylan Roof sitting among them.

You had the beginning of an excellent suggestion Sister Arisha, when you said, “This week, as we remember the anniversary of Denmark Vesey’s planned uprising for freedom…”, you just didn’t follow through.

Denmark VeseyI say let us truly remember Baba Denmark Vesey by having Calhoun Street renamed in his honor to “Denmark Vesey Way“, along with a “Historical Marker” stating that he was one of the co-founders of Emanuel AME Church as well as a Freedom Fighter who selflessly gave his life so all Black African Americans could be free.

By so doing, every time we think of “Denmark Vesey Way“, we can boldly hold our heads up, stick our chests out and feel enormous pride.

In closing, I invite you to read my post – SOUTH CAROLINA’S CONFEDERATE FLAG IS DOWN – NOW WHAT?” @ http://www.itsstilltime.wordpress.com.

Your Elder Brother,

Baba Jerry

harriet-tubman1 “I had reasoned this out in my mind, there was one of two things I had a right to, liberty or death; if I could not have one, I would have the other.”  Mother Harriet Tubman

I am dedicating all of my remaining posts this year to Black African American females because a race can rise no higher than its’ females.

As in all of my posts, UNDERLINED WORDS are links.

Karen CooperMeet Karen Cooper, a confused Black African American female who need all the help she can get to “pull her confused mind back into BLACKNESS“.  Go to the link and you will see why I say this.

The past explains the present and the present will explain the future.  Every since we were kidnapped, shackled hand and feet, enslaved and brought to this country, we Black African Americans have been bouncing from one traumatic event to another.

For over two hundred years, Black African Americans had to endure the most inhumane form of slavery in recorded history.  Then we had to suffer another one hundred and fifty years (1865-present) of Apartheid and Jim Crow, which at times is even worse than slavery itself.  I say this because as slaves, we were valuable property, and although they beat us unmercifully, they murdered very few of us outright.

After “Emancipation”, everything changed.  White Racist America  desperately sought “The Final Solution” on what to do with us.  Everything that Hitler did in Nazi Germany’s “Concentration Camps“, he learned from his White American Christian brethren, based on what White America was doing to Black African Americans.

Revolution of The MindDuring the sixties, we had strong, dedicated and committed Black African Americans to rise up and teach us that in order to have a successful revolution and overthrow Jim Crow and American Apartheid; we must first have a “Revolution Of The Mind.” This meant that we had to realize that as a race, our history transcended slavery and Jim Crow.

Furthermore, we had to accept the reality that death is the outcome for all of us, regardless of what we did.  With this understanding, we knew it was better to die fighting on our feet for freedom than on our knees docilely accepting brutality and humiliation while begging for integrated toilets and a seat at the front of the bus.

Garvey 2For the first time since the Honorable Marcus Garvey, ( read: MY 63RD BLACK HISTORY WEEK/MONTH CELEBRATION ) Black African Americans became a unified force and began demanding and fighting for our inalienable rights.

Predictably, the United States Government did not remain idle and our “Revolution of The Mind” became a physical and emotional nightmare for us.  America’s White Supremacist government immediately declared war on most of our organizations and leaders.

COINTELPRO 1The Kennedy brothers’ (JFK & RFK ) COINTELPRO allowed White America’s successful infiltration into all of our progressive organizations, thus preventing our escaping their mental and physical slave plantations.

Malcolm X ViolenceMLK QuoteDuring the decade of the sixties, as they are doing today, White America’s law enforcement waged war against Black African Americans in hopes of igniting a race war, by violently murdering many of our “positive leaders” including Minister Malcolm X (Read my post: MALCOLM X’S LEGACY) and Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. – (Read my post: KEEP MLK DREAM ALIVE BY REMAINING COMATOSE!)

Pinball MachineSince the sixties, we Black African Americans have been like that proverbial silver ball in a pinball machine, bouncing from one traumatic event to another, scoring points for the dominant White society as we continue bouncing hitter and yond.

Just like that silver ball, we are totally at the mercy of whoever has control of the buttons that controls the flippers, which is mostly White Americans.

Jesse JrPeriodically, a few ill-prepared Black African Americans are allowed temporary control of the flippers in this pinball machine, only to result in their ending up with a “Tilt”, which immediately terminates their “game/control.”

This “Tilt” comes in the form of some iniquitous scandal involving, drugs, sex, embezzlement, corruption or all of the above and their falling from grace, usually resulting in their incarceration.

Even worse, the points that are scored are beneficial only to those controlling the flippers that controls us.  We have neither input or influence over our destiny because we falsely believe we are powerless and all power is external to our locus of control.

Detroit 1967 FiresDuring the 1960s, when this pinball machine resulted in a “Tilt,” White America waged an all-out war against Black African Americans and we reached our boiling point and exploded violently during the “long hot summers”.

Pittsburgh 1968When the fires were extinguished, bodies counted and the damage assessed, we Black African Americans were the losers in every category.  In fact, many of those riot-torn cities still hold the scars today because they have yet to be rebuilt.

Dylann_Roof_mugshotOn June 17, 2015, twenty-one year old Dylan Storm Roof murdered nine Black African Americans in Emanuel AME church in Charleston, S.C. as they were nearing the end of their weekly Bible study.

According to Roof’s racist manifesto, by murdering these nine Black African Americans, he had hoped to ignite another White American race war/riot.  Notice, I said ANOTHER WHITE AMERICAN RACE WAR/RIOT, because America’s history is replete with numerous incidents of White Americans going to war on Black African Americans.

All you have to do is Google “American White Race Riots” and you will get dozens of hits.  I recently wrote about one such war in my post “LITTLE AFRICA – AMERICA’S FIRST TERRORISTIC BOMBING”.

Dylan RoofThe White American media immediately focused on Dylan Roof holding the Confederate Flag and the media frenzy was on.  They had all of America as well as many in the rest of the world believing that Dylan Roof murdered nine Black African Americans because of the Confederate Flag.

Me & ObamaPresident Obama spearheaded the national assault on South Carolina’s Confederate flag and the rest of the nation fell in line.

Taking Down 2With much pomp and circumstance, about a half-dozen South Carolina Honor Guards removed the Confederate Flag that was flying adjacent to the South Carolina State House, less than thirty (30) days after Roof murdered the nine innocent victims.

In 1992, my first book, “IT’S TIME TO STOP BLAMING THE WHITE MAN” was published and the sequel, “IT’S STILL TIME TO STOP BLAMING THE WHITE MAN” was published in 2003.

My BookI wrote the following beginning on page 24 of the sequel: “Our present condition is in response to a scientific and psychological blueprint, which White men created in the third century and they are still maintaining it.  As previously stated, the White man has left nothing to chance, happenstance or coincidence.  White men have positioned themselves at the head of all of our so-called “Civil Rights” organizations, either directly or indirectly, to ensure that we as a people will not rise above our wretchedness.

They have constantly instigated division between our organizations and our people in order to maintain a mental state of confusion and weakness within our ranks.  At the source of their power is our very own ignorance.  The White man’s game requires our total cooperation and acceptance of his authority without questioning his motives.

We must recognize that continuing to play the game according to the White man’s rules are designed to ensure that we will be the losers and White men will be the only winners, no matter what we do!

American FlagBy the time this book is published, the year 2002 will have become history and institutional racism will still be totally ingrained into the very fabric of the American flag.

Old Ga FlagHere in the south, also known as the “Bible Belt,” African-Americans in both Georgia and South Carolina have waged successful (for the time being) battles against the flying of the Confederate battle flags as part of these states’ symbols of white-supremacy.

Although there are many die-hard, Confederate sympathizers who feel totally betrayed over the loss of their historic and symbolic traditions depicting their racial superiority over African-Americans in particular and all non-Whites in general.

South Carolina no longer fly the Confederate battle flag over the statehouse and Georgia has removed the “stars and bars” from its’ state flag, in spite of the cries of many of these Confederate patriots saying “It’s not hate, it’s pride.”

However, since the Confederate flag controversies, I have seen more Confederate flags flying than ever before.  Recently, I saw a car with a Confederate flag attached to the antennae.  I had to chuckle, because the flag appeared to be bending the antennae.  I wondered how many antennas had to be replaced, in order for this diehard “Son of the Confederacy” to be able to proudly display his heritage?

TruckI have seen several red pick-up trucks with the Confederate battle flag painted across the entire hood, as well as stars and bars painted along the sides.

BillboardDriving through rural Georgia, I see billboards with phone numbers (1800-xxx-xxxx) recruiting for the “Sons of the Confederacy.”

Many businesses in the south proudly display the Confederate battle flag as a symbol of defiance and their supporters have signs in their yards protesting not having had an opportunity to vote on the “flag issue.”

PerdueNow their new cry is, “Let us vote,” because they are convinced that if the issue is placed on the ballot, the Confederate battle flag would be restored as the state flag because less than twenty percent of the African-American population, in Georgia, would show up at the poles to oppose it.  If it rained, even less would show up.

Joseph Lowery(Rev. Joseph Lowery image.) In fact, many “civil rights” organizations and so-called “leaders” here in Georgia advocated that all African-Americans living in Georgia boycott any election calling for a referendum on the Georgia state flag.

How ridiculous can we get!  First, we protested against the confederate battle emblem being on the flag, and when it was removed, our “civil rights leaders” told us to abstain from voting on a referendum to return the confederate battle emblem to this flag.

The heartbreak of this misguided boycott would be that untold thousands of African-Americans have given their lives for us to have a right to vote in any election, now these so-called “leaders” of ours are telling us to voluntarily forfeit that right.

It appears that those misguided “civil rights leaders” were supporting the referendum to return the stars and bars to the Georgia state flag by asking us to stay home and not exercise our constitutional right to vote.

If we don’t vote, then the design of the state flag will be determined by the majority of white voters and based on the recent elections, I doubt if they will have our interest in mind when they vote.

Sonny PerdueThe first phase of the voting process on this flag have already taken place and the sons of the confederacy are the victors.  For the first time in nearly 135 years (since reconstruction) , Georgia now has a Republican Governor

You may ask the reason for this drastic and sudden change and the reason is simple.  It is because of the confederate battle flag.  The former democratic governor made the mistake of trying to appease some African-American politicians by changing the Georgia state flag and removing the confederate battle emblem from it.

Was he in for a rude awakening!

Ga FlagOn April 27th many state agencies are closed in recognition of Confederate Memorial Day On April 25, 2003, the Georgia legislature introduced the new state flag, just in time to celebrate the Confederate Memorial Holiday.

Instead of the previous confederate battle flag, this new state flag is an older version of the confederate flag without the stars and crossed bars.

These white folks down here in Dixie and the “New South are very serious about the confederacy.  They are so serious that they named a Georgia County, “Jeff Davis County“,  in honor of the first and only Confederate President. Jeff Davis

I think that this issue over the flag is a smokescreen/distraction specifically designed to take attention away from the real issues that are affecting all of us.  This flag is an inanimate object that only has value when we place value on it.

As long as we are expending all of this negative energy over whether or not a flag is insulting and harmful to African-Americans, we will not address the self-inflicted insults and harm that many African-Americans are perpetrating against other African-Americans in particular and Americans in general.

Crack HouseGang FuneralThese insults and impairments consist of the drug trade and drug addictions, with their associated offenses: African-American-on-African American violence; and related crimes; African-American teen pregnancies; increased number of African-Americans infected with AIDS/HIV; African-American school drop-outs; African-American unemployment; African-American under-employment; African-American adult and juvenile incarcerations; probations and a multitude of other problems in our community.

BikiniBikini SistersNone of these self-inflicted problems has improved in any way, down here in the “New South,” since these two states decided to expend so much time and energy on their state flags.

In fact, the only ones that have truly benefited from the hoopla surrounding this flag issue are those entrepreneurs who make and sell the Confederate battle flags and other Confederate paraphernalia.

Yes, yes and a thousand times yes.  We must begin teaching our children about the facts of life.
